A big contribution to my work has been time spent living and working on Skellig Michael with the Office of Public Works through most summer seasons since 1987. Consequently the powerful influence of nature has been an important element in my work for many years. I enjoy being stretched by the demands of  different media, but always return to the basic excitement of drawing which I enjoy translating in all the different ways that I work.

For 12 years I lived and worked in the old Church of Ireland church in Kilmaolkedar, Ballydavid, then spent almost 10 years working in Dingle Craft Village. I am currently based at Caherbullig in Ventry, Co. Kerry where my work comprises of ongoing freelance original art pieces in various media and a second stream of commissioned and craft pieces in glass and mosaic.
